is ip44 ok for outside lights?

What is IP44 stand for?

The first 4 means:  Anti->1.0mm solids/line or flakes with a diameter greater than 1mm, solids with a diameter greater than 1mm

The Second 4 means: Splash-proof/water splashing in any direction should have no harmful effects

So if there are protection on top of the outside lights, IP44 is ok.

If no protection on top to prevent the rain, IP44 is not ok, need to choose IP65.
